On behalf of the RHPS staff, I would like to welcome all of our returning and new families to our school! We hope that everyone in our school community had a fantastic summer. This was definitely one of the warmer summers in recent years; If you like sunshine and heat, this August was definitely for you! One of the many blessings I count at Rolling Hills would be that it is fully air-conditioned!
By now, hopefully all of our families received messaging regarding who their child’s homeroom teacher will be for the upcoming year. If you have not, please do not worry as staff will help guide your child to the correct teacher on Tuesday.
Staff are definitely excited about being back this year! One of my goals for the year would be to know all of our students’ names in the school. I have greatly appreciated the support shown towards me last year beginning in January and I look forward to continuing to build those relationships.
I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend and we will see all of our Rams back tomorrow. One thing I would already start encouraging this year’s Rams to start thinking about is involving themselves in one or more of the various clubs, activities and sports teams (whether intramural or extra-curricular). Rolling Hills is a school in which there are many opportunities for our students. The more our students become involved the more amazing our school will be!
