RHPS recognizes International Women’s Day this Friday, March 6. The official date is Sunday, March 8, which is why we are recognizing the date on Friday. The colours purple, green and white are associated with this day. We are asking our students to wear any combination of purple, green and white on Friday, March 6. Why do we recognize this day? To remind us of the importance of gender equality. As well, it is a day to consider the many achievements and contributions of women.
