Today is International Francophone Day! The word Francophone refers to someone who speaks French. Did you know that over 321 MILLION people speak French worldwide? There are many reasons to learn French. Learning another language can actually increase your cognitive abilities. Speaking more than one language can also give you an edge in the job market. Research shows that those who are bilingual or multilingual can earn 5% – 20% more per hour than those who are not. Vive le français!
