Mr. Hanley would like us to get the word out about a shoe donation drive being organized by a local business! Please check out the attached poster for specific information. The gist is that donated shoes are distributed to developing countries, where people can start businesses selling them. This is also a great way to gently divert gently used shoes from landfills.
How to donate? Simply send in gently used shoes that you no longer need or have no one to give them to. Each classroom at RHPS has a box for donated shoes. Mr. Hanley will then get the shoes to the company organizing the shoe drive. There is no pressure to donate; only donate if you can.
