As we prepare to head into the last week of school prior to the holidays (next week), our school has planned a Spirit Day for each day next week.
Monday, December 16 – Tree Topper Day (wear a festive hat or decorate your hat)
Tuesday, December 17 – Candy Cane Day (wear red, white and green)
Wednesday, December 18 – North Pole Day (decorate yourself in a North Pole theme)
Thursday, December 19 – Holiday Sweater/Shirt Day & Ugly Holiday Sweater/Shirt Day (get creative and decorate your clothing)
The goal in choosing these Spirit Days was to make them accessible for all students. Not everyone has a Holiday Sweater, for example, at home. Get creative, Rams! Take a regular sweater and add some holiday decorations to it to create your own holiday sweater. To be honest, staff are looking forward to seeing the creativity sure to be shown around days such as Tree Topper Day!
I am rather excited for this last week of school prior to the holidays as I will be breaking out a couple of my favourite holiday sweaters. As the RHPS community gets to know me even more, you won’t be shocked to see my Star Wars or Dallas Cowboys holiday sweaters. Of course, I have especially enjoyed wearing my holiday ties and socks as I now have enough for a different set for each day of December.
