Our school recognizes Earth Day next Monday, April 22 with a number of different activities during the day. Thank you to Ms. Wright and Ms. McGarry for organizing and making this day happen! In order to make the day a success we are asking for some items that you likely have around the house:
• egg cartons (we need about 300 individual sections or 25 x 12 egg cartons)
• glue sticks (for hot glue guns)
Items for “Recycling Art”
• cardboard
• plastic containers
• tin cans without sharp edges
• lids from glass jars
• bubble wrap
• anything else recyclable that is clean and usable
Just send these items with your child! Please send them in as soon as you have them as this will give staff a sense of what items we have and we continue to need.
