A reminder that Mrs. Wright and her Hoops for Hope organizing team are looking for at least 32 teams (160 players) to sign-up for the tournament scheduled for Monday, June 22. If we do not have at least 32 teams we cannot go ahead with the tournament!
If your child would like to play, but does not have a team, just have your child speak with Mrs. Wright who will do her best to help them find a team.
When making up teams, keep in mind that all teams must include at least 3 juniors and at least 2 girls, but a team could be all girls or all juniors if that’s what you choose. We just try to ensure we don’t have a team of all intermediate boys to compete against.
While there are certainly some teams and players who are highly competitive, the goal of the day is really about fun, getting exercise and raising money for charity. This year, all proceeds raised will go to Sick Kids. We ask for $20/team which is just $4/player, but donations are not mandatory.
