Thank you to our Parent Council for again organizing a Festive Dinner this year. The dinner takes place on Thursday, December 5. It’s a little earlier than usual this year; however, that probably is not a bad thing as I am guessing there is lots going on at RHPS in the 2 weeks prior to the winter break (it has been a “few” years since I have been at RHPS for a Festive Dinner – it is Mr. Parish writing this email)!
Key Information
• takes place on Thursday, December 5 in our Gym
• 1/2 of our students will eat during 1st nutrition break and recess; the other half during 2nd nutrition break and recess
• students are asked to bring their own plate and cutlery (butter knife, fork and spoon); most students bring this in a large ziplock bag or “old school” plastic grocery bag
• the dinner includes roast beef and gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and a bun; I believe there is ice cream for dessert
Thank you to our Parent Council volunteers who have already spent a significant amount of time making this opportunity happen, and for those volunteers coming next Thursday to prepare and serve the food. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
