Thanks to all those involved in the various activities that happened on the Friday before the March Break. The dances were definitely a success! The music and art opportunities were a “hit” with students who chose these activities (a few of the clay creations are included with this post). And, last but not least, those students who chose skating had a great time on the ice. Thank you to Ms. Bell for the overall organization of the day. Thank you to Ms. Newll, Ms. Audet, Ms. Newell and Ms. McGarry for organizing art and music activities for students. Thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to help with tying skates and helping on the ice – your efforts were critical to making the day a success. Finally, thank you to the Parent Council for covering the cost of the ice for the skating portion of the day. Why am I sending out this email and putting out this post? So often we only hear the negative about students and not the positive. Behaviour throughout the afternoon was wonderful which is all the more appreciated because that time was in a much less structured, out of the norm situation. Our students’ behaviour was outstanding – great job, Rams!
